Flying In
The easiest way to Hood River is a flight into Portland International Airport (PDX). From Philly, the trip is just under 6 hours (nonstop) and can range anywhere from $250 to $400 round-trip.

Getting Around
We'll have a few rental cars between both families, and are happy to provide rides for as many folks as we can fit! Depending on your arrival, pickup from PDX Airport may also be available.
Otherwise, we recommend hopping on the CAT Bus, which runs from PDX to Hood River for $10. It's an affordable and easy way to get around the Gorge!
Be aware that rideshare services are virtually nonexistent in the Columbia River Gorge. That said, almost everything planned for Hood River (8/4-8/8) won't require driving. The town is quite walkable, and a private shuttle will provide transport to and from the wedding venue on the big day.

Hood River is a popular summer escape in the Pacific Northwest, which means accommodations tend to fill up quickly. We recommend making your lodging plans a priority and booking early.
Our welcome gathering and wedding transportation will be centered around 902 Oak Street (the Lodge), so we encourage you to stay nearby; ideally within a 10–15 minute walk. To make things a little easier, we’ve curated a collection of local hotels and Airbnbs, including options that are great for sharing with friends.
Most Airbnbs in the Gorge offer a “reserve now, pay later” option, which can be a nice way to secure your spot early without paying upfront.
